School-Based Therapy
The Belton School District has partnered with Compass Health Network to offer evidence-based clinical therapy services embedded in each school building.

Did you know that students who qualify for mental health services may have access to work with a licensed therapist at their child’s school? The Belton School District, in partnership with Compass Health Network, has seven school-based therapists available from pre-K to high school. Our school-based therapists provide clinical interventions and support to assist students in resolving and addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use, oppositional behaviors, trauma, family conflict and more.
Compass Health Network offers school-based therapy services to any student who carries MO HealthNet (Medicaid) as primary or secondary insurance. If your student has private insurance or no insurance, please contact your school counselor to determine what resources may be available.
If you are interested in your child receiving school-based therapy, please contact your student’s counselor for more information.
