Kids Central

Kids Central is a before and after-school care program offered to children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Our philosophy is to provide a loving, nurturing, safe and positive environment. We plan activities with each child's age and personal development in mind.

Care is available from 6 a.m. to  6:30 p.m. outside of school hours and is open on scheduled school breaks, but is closed on major holidays. Kids Central is totally self-supporting and uses no tax dollars in our operational budget. Tuition fees are charged and due on the first of each month (September through May). 

Mill Creek students receive care at STEAM. We provide transportation from STEAM to Mill Creek in the morning and from Mill Creek to STEAM in the afternoon.

MONTHLY FEES

All of our programs include after-school care on early release days and all-day care on scheduled school breaks, according to the district calendar. We have a 20% sibling discount (second or more).If you sign up for care when the district does not have school, we do not honor the discounted rates.

Registration

All students and parents must read the Kids Central Handbook  (Centro de niños manual familiar - en español) before enrolling. There is a $35 non-refundable family registration fee.

State assistance is available to those who qualify. Please review the information from the Child Care Subsidy Program for eligibility requirements and to apply.
