Parents As Teachers
Parents as Teachers is a program designed for families with children prenatal through five years of age. Services include developmental screenings, home visits and group connections events for all families.
PERSONAL HOME AND VIRTUAL VISITS
Once a family has been enrolled to receive PAT services, the Parent Educator assigned to your family will contact you to schedule a home or virtual visit. Visits may occur four times per year up to monthly visits, depending on the needs of your family.
DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENINGS
Developmental Screenings are provided free of charge to families with children ages six months to five years. Families interested in a developmental screening, please enroll in Parents as Teachers online.
GROUP CONNECTION EVENTS
Group Connection Events are organized to provide an opportunity for parents to connect with each other and parent educators in a variety of formats and locations in our community. Connection Events can be in-person events or virtual topical sessions.
We host a variety of activities to connect our families to places or people in the community. These maybe playgroups, parent training seminars, or parent support groups.
NETWORK RESOURCES
Whether you need some new ideas of parks and places to play, further testing or evaluations due to developmental concerns, clothing or food resources-we have ideas for you!
EARLY CHILDHOOD RESOURCE CENTER
