Mr. Kevin Bair Named Next Belton High School Assistant Principal

During its closed session, the Board of Education approved Mr. Kevin Bair as Belton High School Assistant Principal.

Mr. Bair has been in education for 15 years in the Kansas City 33 School District teaching 7-12 grade English, AP Language and Composition, Journalism, Graphic Design, Photography and Yearbook. He has also coached football and baseball at Northeast High School and Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, and served as athletic director at Lincoln College Preparatory Academy. He has served as Assistant Principal at East High School for the last two years.

“I am excited to serve as an assistant principal at Belton High School to continue building upon the outstanding traditions and real-world learning experiences taking place in the classrooms,” says Mr. Bair. “As a member of the Belton community, I am looking forward to supporting and celebrating our students and staff as we continue to enhance BHS's culture of excellence, both inside and outside of the classroom.”

Mr. Bair earned his education specialist degree from Northwest Missouri State University. He earned his master’s degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and he has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska.
