Kristen Niemeyer Named Belton High School Activities Director

During its closed session, the Board of Education approved Kristen Niemeyer as Belton High School activities director.

Ms. Niemeyer is currently varsity assistant softball coach, varsity assistant girls wrestling coach and business teacher at Belton High School. She previously served as assistant principal/athletic administrator at Marshall High School in Marshall, Missouri, and athletic administrator in the Dixon R-I School District in Dixon, Missouri. She also served as co-athletic director, head volleyball coach, head softball coach and high school business teacher in the Sweet Springs R-VII School District in Sweet Springs, Missouri.

“I am grateful to be the next athletic/activities director at BHS since my passion for sports started at BHS over thirty years ago,” says Ms. Niemeyer. “In my new role, I look forward to continuing to build on a legacy of creating student-athletes, activity members, teams, coaches and programs that our community and school will take pride in for many years to come.”

Ms. Niemeyer earned her education specialist degree in educational leadership and master’s in athletic administration from William Woods University.
