Communications System Test

As we approach inclement weather season, we will be testing our emergency communications system to ensure you are receiving notifications from the Belton School District. We will be conducting the test on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. via email, text and phone call

Ahead of this test, please log into PowerSchool and ensure that your contact information is correct, and contact your school in writing if it is not correct:

  1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal through a browser (not the PowerSchool app): bsd124.powerschool.com/public/home
  2. Click “Returning Student Registration” on the left menu
  3. Type in your child's date of birth and click the “Continue” button
  4. Click the “Completed Form” link, highlighted in blue, under step 1 of “Next Steps”
  5. Scroll down the PDF file to view contact information. If changes need to be made, please contact your child's school in writing with the changes. You can find your school’s contact information here: beltonschools.org/schools


After the test, if you did not receive communications as expected, please contact your school in writing to provide your correct contact information.
