No Tax Rate Increase Bond 2026

The Belton School District #124 Board of Education unanimously approved placing a No Tax Rate Increase $58 million Bond on the April 7, 2026, ballot.

Bond 2026 will provide innovation for every student in every school through modern, well-maintained facilities in these 4 key projects:

"Shall Belton School District #124 of Cass County, Missouri borrow money in the amount of $58,000,000 for the purpose of (i) acquiring, constructing, renovating, expanding, improving, furnishing and equipping school facilities of the District for the purpose of expanding career and technical programs and activities for middle school and high school students; expanding learning experiences for elementary students through farm, technology, and arts programs; and expanded experiences with Junior ROTC, academic, activities and athletic programs; and (ii) completing other facility maintenance and improvement projects throughout the District, and issue bonds for the payment thereof? 

"If this question is approved, the debt service levy of the District is estimated to remain unchanged at $1.0544 per one hundred dollars assessed valuation of real and personal property."
