Upcoming Events
Dear Grace Families,
-
I am so excited to welcome you and your child to our school family for the 2023-2024 school year! Like some of you, this is my first year at Grace. I have already found this to be an incredibly warm and welcoming community and know that you will too!
We are hosting an Open House on Thursday, August 17 from 4-6pm at Grace. This is a great time for you to meet your child’s teacher, explore the classroom and get any last minute questions answered. This is also an opportunity to turn in any documentation needed to complete your child’s file. We hope you can join us!
Grace is focused on providing children with developmentally appropriate learning opportunities in an environment that is safe and supportive of all students and their families. We believe that the positive relationships cultivated here position each child to meet their personal and academic potential. I am so proud to be part of Grace Early Childhood; I have found the staff to be talented and dedicated to students, families, and the entire Belton community. Together with your continued and critical partnership, we look forward to celebrating many accomplishments and milestones this year!
Below are a few important reminders as we kick off our school year:
Grace Parent/Student Handbook:
Please take a moment to review the Grace Parent Handbook, which includes a lot of important information. It will help answer many frequently asked questions we receive. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Breakfast & Lunch
Breakfast will be free to all students this year. We strongly encourage all families to apply for free/reduced benefits by filling out the form as additional benefits are provided based on lunch status.
If your child has recently been diagnosed with a food allergy or to verify the information you provided, please call our office at 816-489-7300. This information is critical in planning for your child’s health and safety.
Pick Up Procedures/Visitors
All visitors to our school are required to enter through the main entrance/lobby and must sign-in at the front office where we ask for a state photo ID. Visitors will also be provided a “visitor’s badge” to wear visibly while in the building. Please share these processes with those listed as authorized “pick-up” persons in our student information system; only those listed will be allowed to pick up your child. This process is designed to provide your child a safe and secure learning environment. We know this process takes an extra moment, and we appreciate your support.
It is also essential the office has accurate, up-to-date contact, arrival/dismissal, and authorized/emergency pick-up information at all times. So that teachers and office staff can best ensure the safe, correct dismissal of each child, notify the office no later than 10:00 am for AM class and 2:00 pm for our PM class of any dismissal change. These changes must be made in writing and can be sent through email to grace@bsd124.org.
We are grateful to you for entrusting us with your student and look forward to a year filled with love and learning. Here’s to a wonderful 2023-24 school year!
Respectfully,
Amy Loveland & The Grace Staff

At Grace, certified teachers design the classroom environment to nurture students’ development. As children play, they construct knowledge through exploring, questioning, experimenting, and creating.
