The Belton School District utilizes questionnaires and surveys to help identify certain multilingual learners and/or migratory children in the district. The District shall also follow the identification procedures set forth by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
The District will assess the educational and related health and social needs of each identified migrant student and will give full access to all programs ordinarily provided to all other children to meet their needs, including Title I, English Language Development, counseling programs, electives, fine arts, etc.
