Our curriculum in Belton is built upon our Belton Power Standards, the Missouri Learning Standards and the ACT College and Career Readiness Standards. Using these standards, teams of teachers collaborated to develop our Belton Power Standards. Our Curriculum Pacing Guides are built to ensure adequate pacing for teachers as they work students through the standards.  Our Belton Curriculum is developed by teams of our best teachers and shared across the district and with the community.

 

The curriculum is a set of dynamic documents for educators.  As we are always learning new information about how the human brain works and how children learn, we are always working to improve our curriculum and add resources for teachers and students. These attached Belton Curriculum documents are a snapshot of our curriculum as it exists at the end of 2017.  We will update these documents for viewing on our website on an annual basis, as we are adding to and adapting our curriculum and the resources it holds for our teachers to best meet the needs of our students.
