As we wrap up the first quarter of school, we are fully immersed in our studies. Students have been actively engaged in their learning through literacy projects, science projects, and real-life math applications.
We’ve been thrilled to welcome families and community members back into our building this school year. In September, we hosted a GrandFriends Breakfast, where students were able to show their GrandFriends around the school, eat breakfast, create a card for residents at Carnegie Village, and shop the bookfair. Then in October, the Belton Fire Department stopped by to teach our students about fire safety in the first school-wide assembly we’ve had in a couple of years. We also hosted our Trunk or Treat event which had a great turn out. We enjoyed seeing so many smiling faces!
We look forward to seeing you soon at Kentucky Trail.
