Welcome to Cambridge!  We hope everyone had a relaxing summer and is ready to return to school. We look forward to seeing everyone soon.

For those of you that are new to Cambridge, my name is Dr. Michelle Biondo (Cambridge Elementary Principal).  I’ve had the honor of being an administrator in the district for 21 years and the proud principal at Cambridge for 19 years.

This year we also have Mr. Blaine Adams joining us as the new Assistant Principal. This will be Blaine’s ninth year in the Belton School District. He previously taught at Mill Creek and is excited to begin his administrative experience at Cambridge. We’ve attached a sheet with some additional information about Blaine

We know you are curious about who your child’s teacher will be. On Wednesday, August 17, after 12 PM, families can log into the Parent Portal to see the class placement for this school year. We will not post class lists on the front doors.

Next, we are very excited to host our Back-to-School Night this year in person. We are returning to an indoor event this year. We look forward to seeing families at Cambridge this Thursday, August 18, from 5 to 7 PM. This will give parents and guardians an opportunity to meet their child's teacher in person and see the classroom before school starts. Students are welcome to bring their school supplies at this time. Parents are encouraged to pick up their car rider sign in the office. Parents need to show this sign when picking up their child in the car lane. 

Finally, like last year, we strongly encourage students to arrive and dismiss as they usually would on Monday, August 22, our first day of school. Students may also bring their supplies on the first day if they choose. We will be hosting a Boo Hoo and Ya Hoo event in the library at 8:45 AM. At this event, we will be there to celebrate with you or give you a shoulder to lean on as we start this new school year. We will also provide information about the supports our district and building have available to students.
